All batting needs to be lined to prevent fiber migration. Choose between a pellon lined or muslin lined batt.
We recommend pellon if the comforter will be permanently covered and tied, quilted or sewn. If the batting is to be used with a duvet or comforter cover, a muslin lining is best as it won't ball or pill when removing the duvet. Our Pellon Lined Batting is perfect for any quilter. It's hand-stitched in a long basting stitch, just enough to hold the wool in place. Just pin the lined batting on a frame, snip the running stitches, cover with your fabric, and then tie off to keep the wool in place.This lined batting must be covered.
